EASY ONE POT LEMON CHICKEN PESTO PASTA
What You’ll Need:
- Prepared chicken (Rotisserie or baked tenderloins such as the ones I prepared for my weekly meal prep)
- 2 large lemons
- 1 bag Barilla Ready Pasta Penne (Available at Walmart)
- 1 jar of Barilla Basil Pesto sauce
- A tablespoon of olive oil
- Pre-cut veggies of your choice – I’m using broccoli and sun-dried tomatoes
- 2 cups of water
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
Directions:
- Place any pre-cut veggies in skillet and fill with water until just covered. Allow veggies to boil just until tender and drain water.
- Add the whole jar of pesto sauce, juice of both lemons – be sure to remove the seeds, and olive oil to vegetables in skillet and heat over medium, stirring until combined.
- Cut up protein (prepared chicken) into bite size strips and add to skillet.
- Microwave Barilla Ready Penne for 60 seconds after venting the package. Add pasta to skillet.
- Season to taste using salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Ingredients:
1 pkg Barilla Ready Pasta
1 jar Barilla Pesto
1 pkg Frozen Veggies (whatever you have on hand)
2 lbs chicken breasts (pre-cooked, sliced)
Salt and pepper, to taste.
Directions:
Add 2 Tablespoons olive oil to sauce pan over medium high heat.
Add veggies to pan. I love using carrots, broccoli, peppers, squash, peas, etc. Add whatever you’d like or have on hand!
Add pre-cooked chicken to pan. Sauce for 8-10 minutes with veggies or until heated through.
Cook Barilla Ready Pasta in the microwave. Follow the directions on the package. Add pasta to pan with veggies and chicken.
Add a few tablespoons of Barilla Basil Pesto. You can add as much or as little as you like!
Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with your favorite garlic bread or try our favorite cheesy ciabatta bread recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 Pkgs Barilla Ready Pasta (Penne) Prepared According to Directions
- 1 Jar of Barilla Marinara Sauce
- 1 & 3/4 Cups Diced Cooked Chicken, Warmed
- 1.5 Cups Mozzarella Shredded Cheese, 1/2 cup reserved
- 1 Cup Ricotta Cheese
- 1 Cup Spinach
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Artichoke Hearts
- 1/4 Cup Diced Onion
- Basil to garnish, optional
Instructions
- Turn your oven on the low broil setting. Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl to mix while reserving 1/2 cup of the cheese. Mix until full blended and add the mixture to a small casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese. Broil for 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden. Cool and serve. Garnish with Basil if desired. Enjoy!

- 1 package Barilla Ready Pasta (Rotini)
- 1/4 cup Barilla Traditional Basil Pesto
- 2 Tablespoons pine nuts, lightly toasted
- 6 oz. cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 teaspoon chopped basil leaves
Instructions
- Toast pine nuts in a small pan over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring often or shaking pan until golden.
- Cook pasta according to directions on the package.
- In a large bowl, combine pasta, pesto, tomatoes, steamed broccoli and basil. Stir gently to combine.
- Sprinkle with toasted pine nuts before serving.

1/2 bag of Barilla Ready Pasta
1/4 cup of Barilla Basil Pesto sauce
1/2 cup of rotisserie chicken
1/2 cup of grape tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup of baby spinach
1 tbsp of olive oil
1. Open the bag and place Barilla Ready Pasta in the microwave for 60 seconds.
2. Heat up a skillet to medium heat to lightly cook the spinach with a tablespoon of olive oil.
3. Add the pasta, chicken, and tomatoes to the skillet, stirring to combine.
4. Turn heat down to low, add pesto sauce, and stir until desired temperature.
5. Enjoy!

- 1 (8.5 oz) package Barilla Ready Pasta
- 6 oz jar Barilla Pesto
- 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup zucchini, diced
- ¾ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Add zucchini and tomatoes. Cook until zucchini is tender, about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, microwave Bariila Ready Pasta for 60 seconds according to package directions.
- Add chicken, pasta and pesto to the zucchini and tomatoes. Stir to coat evenly and allow to heat through.
- Serve.

QUICK AND EASY CHICKEN PESTO PASTA RECIPE
Quick and Easy Chicken Pesto Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
- (2) packages of Barilla Ready Pasta: Penne or Rotini (I used Rotini this time but have used penne in the past – they are both great choices for this recipe)
- (2) jars of Barilla Traditional Basil Pesto Sauce, 6.0 OZ
- (1) Rotisserie Chicken (pre-cooked)
- Fresh Diced Tomatoes (You can find freshly diced tomatoes ready to go at Walmart. Look for the Marketside brand.)
Directions
- Warm the Barilla Ready pasta in the microwave – it takes just 60 seconds per bag! Microwave each bag separately for best results and don’t forget to vent the package.
- While the pasta is warming in the microwave, shred bite-sized pieces of chicken from the rotisserie chicken.
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, Barilla Ready Pasta, and Barilla Pasta Traditional Basil Pesto Sauce then toss until chicken and pasta pieces are well coated.
- Garnish the top of the Chicken Pesto Pasta with diced tomato. (My kids love being able to add this toppingon themselves!)
- Serve immediately

BAKED CHICKEN PARMESAN PASTA

Ingredients
- 1 package Barilla Ready Pasta Rotini
- 12 ounces Barilla Marinara Sauce
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 3/4 cup Italian Seasoned Panko Breadcrumbs
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Prepare pasta in microwave according to package directions.
In a medium mixing bowl combine chicken, cheese, pasta and Marinara Sauce. Stir gently.
Divide mixture into personal sized baking dishes.
Sprinkle tops of dishes with panko breadcrumbs and a little pinch of parmesan cheese.
Bake on middle rack of oven for 15-20 minutes until top is browned. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 packages Barilla Ready Pasta – Penne
- 1 cup Barilla Marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
- 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
- 2 bell peppers {any color}, sliced
- 1 medium red onion, sliced
- Olive oil
- 1 T taco seasoning
Directions
Begin by gathering all of your ingredients. The first step is to sauté the sliced bell peppers and red onions in a sauté pan. Onions and peppers are classic fajita components, and they can be prepared in just a few minutes. When the onions are transparent and the peppers are softened, remove them from the pan. Add the marinara sauce, heavy cream, and taco seasoning to the pan, and bring it to a simmer. Add the cup of shredded Mexican cheese blend and stir until it melts. Next, heat the pasta. Barilla Ready Pasta, made with three simple ingredients {sea salt, olive oil and pasta}, can be prepared in the microwave in just 60 seconds. No boiling water, no testing to make sure it’s perfectly al dente, no draining. Place your pasta in a large bowl to be served family style. Top your Barilla Ready Pasta with the creamy, cheesy marinara sauce, sautéed vegetables, and shredded rotisserie chicken. Ingredients
- 1 package Barilla Ready Pasta
- 2 Tablespoons Barilla Pesto Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons canned petite diced tomatoes, drained well
- 1/2 cup mozzarella pearls
Instructions
Cook Barilla Ready Pasta in the microwave according to package directions. Allow to cool.
Drain a can of petite diced tomatoes. Try to get out as much of the water as possible.
Toss the pasta in the pesto sauce until well coated. Use more or less pesto sauce to your taste.
Next add 2-3 Tablespoons tomatoes and 1/2 cup mozzarella pearls to the pasta and toss gently.
Serve immediately or chill for later.

SHRIMP ITALIANO

Ingredients
- 1 package Barilla Ready Pasta
- 1 jar Barilla Marinara sauce
- 18 small precooked shrimp
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- Parmesan cheese
- fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe dish combine butter and minced garlic and heat it for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until it's completely melted.
- Add about 18 small precooked frozen shrimp that are already deveined and microwave for an additional 2 minutes.
- Toss the shrimp in the butter sauce and then move them to another bowl and drain the butter.
- Make the Barilla Ready Pasta according to instructions.
- Pour the pasta into the now empty dish.
- Add about a cup of Barilla Marinara sauce to the pasta.
- Then, add the shrimp back to the dish and toss the pasta and shrimp in the sauce.
- Plate it up and sprinkle some fresh Parmesan and parsley before serving.

3 packages Barilla Ready Pasta
1 cucumber
1 cup cherry tomatoes
1 jar Barilla Basil Pesto Sauce
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon bacon bits
1 package Starkist Tuna
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Slice cucumber and cherry tomatoes.
- Microwave Barilla Ready Pasta for 60 seconds (follow directions on package).
- Pour pasta into a bowl and add Barilla Basil Pesto Sauce, cucumber, tomatoes, bacon bits, and tuna.
- Stir then salt and pepper to taste.

2 pouches Barilla Ready Pasta
1 jar Barilla Marinara Sauce
1/4 – 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
Cook pasta in microwave according to directions on package
Heat skillet to medium heat
Add pasta to skillet
Add Barilla Marinara Sauce
Heat through
Add cheeses
Heat until melted
Serve immediately
Store leftovers in air tight container in refrigerator

- 1/2 cup cream
- 3/4 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
- 2 Tbsp Barilla pesto
- 2 Tbsp chopped tomato
DIRECTIONS
- Cook pasta according to directions on bag.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the cream and chicken in a saute pan over high heat. When the cream begins to boil, turn down the heat and stir in the pesto.
- Add the pasta and toss well to coat.
- Plate the dish and top with tomatoes and Parmesan cheese (option).

Easy Pesto Shrimp Scampi

You will Need:
- Barilla Ready Pasta
- 2 T. Barilla Basil Pesto
- 1 Pound Shrimp
- 1/2 C. Parmesan cheese
- 2 green onions thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 T. olive oil
Heat the olive oil over medium heat until sizzling. Add the garlic and the shrimp. Cook your shrimp until it is pink and firm, about five minutes. Add the pesto and stir the shrimp until well coated. Sprinkle the green onions on top and stir. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. Just before removing the shrimp from the heat, add the cheese to the top of the shrimp. Microwave your Barilla Ready Pasta, and place the pasta on a plate. Top the pasta with a drizzle of olive oil and the shrimp scampi.

Barilla Ready pasta- Rotini {2 bags}
Barilla Basil Pesto Sauce {about 4 TBSP}
Rotisserie Chicken, shredded
Directions:
Heat Barilla Ready pasta in the microwave for sixty seconds per bag. Pour into a mixing bowl.
Add the Barilla Basil Pesto Sauce and the shredded chicken.
Mix well, making sure to evenly coat the pasta and chicken with the sauce.
Enjoy!

- 1 bag 12 oz Chopped Broccoli (in steamable bag)

- 1 tbs. Butter
- 1 tbs. Garlic Powder
- 1 tbs. Chicken Boulon
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 cup Water
- In the microwave, steam broccoli as directed. When finished, pour into a large bowl.
- Add 2 teaspoons of Barilla Pesto sauce, 2 tbs. olive oil, 1 tbs. butter, 1 tbs. garlic powder, 1 tbs. chicken boulon, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup water to the broccoli.
- Stir together.
- Put Barilla Ready Pasta pouch in microwave and cook for 60 seconds.
- Put pasta in a large bowl.
- Add desired amount of the broccoli pesto sauce to the pasta.
- Serve on plates.

- 1 package Barilla Ready Pasta Penne
- 1/4 cup Barilla Basil Pesto
- 1/2 cup mozzarella pearls
- 1/2 cup diced cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced cucumber
- 3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a small saucepan, pour balsamic vinegar and honey. Simmer over medium heat until it reduced to 1/4 cup. Let cool.
2. Cook pasta according to package directions and pour into a clear bowl.
3. Add pesto, tomatoes, mozzarella and cucumber. Stir to combine.
4. Cover and place in the fridge until cold.
5. Remove from fridge before serving and drizzle with balsamic reduction and garnish with fresh basil.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 package Barilla Ready Penne Pasta
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 large chicken breastscubed
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 can milk
- 1/2 cup Barilla Pesto
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
INSTRUCTIONS

Add 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet and cook until the chicken starts to lightly brown.
Add your cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic salt, pepper, and pesto sauce to your chicken skillet. Whisk together and bring to a slight boil, then turn down the heat immediately so that you don’t burn the soup mixture to the bottom of the pan. Let simmer for a couple of minutes.
Prepare your Barilla Pasta Ready according to directions and then mix with butter.
Mix the pesto mixture and pasta together and top with Parmesan Cheese!
